New Year’s Resolutions

Written by Sam | December 24, 2018

So it’s coming to that time of year again where a lot of people set their targets for the New Year and what they want to achieve. But WHY should we set ourselves some targets? Why should we push ourselves to do more things or challenge ourselves to do more activities?

Challenge yourself

Because you will get more done – Say if your resolution is to visit 1 country a month or it is to go running 3 times a week. It will take discipline to create a routine, however, once you have the routine set there will be no stopping you! Once you’ve completed one thing, you can set another and another and another. Then by the time you are older, you could have seen most of the world or run 10 marathons or gave blood 60 times.

You will get a BUZZ from it – by completing the task, it will make you feel good, especially if it is for a good cause. Say if your resolution is to give blood every 3 months that will make you feel good because you are making a difference. There are lots you can do, you can volunteer at charities. By giving back it will make you feel good and you will want to do more!

You can expand yourself and your mind – Goals help us believe in ourselves. Setting goals for yourself is a way to fuel your ambition. Goal setting isn’t just about creating a plan for your life and holding yourself accountable, it’s also about giving us the inspiration necessary to aim for things we never thought possible.

You can become HEALTHIER & HAPPIER – if your resolution is to eat better and exercise 3 times a week. This is going to have a big impact on your life. You may become happier, healthier, and less stressed, even though you are doing more! It’s crazy right! Just by making these small changes, you can see big differences in your life!

Our last one is, keep a track of everything you have done! By doing this when you look back at the end of next year you can see exactly how much progress you have made! I bet you it will be more than you think! The last thing you need to do is take ACTION…

Discover. Trust. Review.
