Written by Sam | January 16, 2021

In Portsmouth there is only one University and that is the University of Portsmouth and it is one of only four universities on the south coast to be rated TEF Gold (2020).

Portsmouth has around 20,000 students and this is quite big for a university. Based on the south coast you get good access to the seaside and you have the South Downs behind you.

Portsmouth has a good transport system, for essentially being an island, you can get in and out with ease and it is well connected by rail and other transport. Because it is not a huge city you can travel around with ease by walking or by bike. ,
