Student Accommodation in Middlesbrough

Written by Sam | March 18, 2021

In Middlesbrough there is one university and that is Teesside University. Middlesbrough is south of Durham and to the east of Darlington. The university has a satellite campus in Darlington.

It is close to the east coast and has some good scenery around it with the North Yorkshire Moors close by!

Teesside university is ranked quite highly as a young university (201-250) however, in the world it is ranked between 801-1000. This is still good if you imagine how many unis there are in the world.

The university has just over 12,000 full time students on their books, which is a very reasonable size university.

It has five schools: School of Computing, Engineering and Digital Technologies; School of Health and Life Sciences; School of Social Sciences, Humanities and Law; Teesside University Business School, and the MIMA School of Art and Design.

Most students choose to be either in the town centre or close to the university because the rents aren’t too high. This also helps that Middlesbrough isn’t a massive place!
