York is an incredibly popular city even when you don’t take the university in to account. It has some amazing history and architecture that you can mix with the horse racing and it’s local pubs to make sure there is plenty to do.

Being in York there are quite a few student accommodations you would expect there to be less student housing, however, there are still plenty of student housing in the area.
The main reason for this is because it offers a price difference to the student accommodation offered above.
Many students like houses because you can have varying amount of beds, in lots of locations and have plenty of options with a lot of different pricing oppositions.
