Chichester enjoys a glorious 1920.8 hours, on average, of sunshine every year
Chichester is known for...
Chichester sits in the historic county of Sussex, southern England. It lies on the coastal plain of the English Channel at the foot of the chalk South Downs about 1 mile (1.6 km) from the head of Chichester Harbour, with which it is connected by a canal. It is the county town for West Sussex.
It is a transport hub, and a centre for culture in the county, with a theatre, museum and art galleries. Chichester Harbour and the South Downs provide opportunities for outdoor pursuits.
Being smaller city than most in the UK it still has a lot of character and a relatively big cathedral!
