Coventry is a city and metropolitan borough in the West Midlands, England.
Historically part of Warwickshire, Coventry is the 9th largest city in England and the 12th largest in the United Kingdom.
Coventry is 95 miles (153 km) northwest of central London, 19 miles (31 km) east-south-east of Birmingham, 24 miles (39 km) southwest of Leicester and 11 miles (18 km) north of Warwick.
The city has two universities, Coventry University in the city centre and the University of Warwick on the southern outskirts.

The University of Warwick, based on the outskirts of the city of Coventry, England, first opened its doors in 1965.
Warwick maintains around 30 academic departments, organised into four faculties: Arts, Medicine, Science and Social Science.
In support of this, the university has an extensive library boasting more than 13 kilometers’ worth of manuscripts. Smaller campuses are also maintained at satellite sites.
