Perfectly placed for students studying at both Sheffield Hallam University and the University of Sheffield, Kelham Island is a vibrant area popular with students and full of trendy independent cafés, bars, and restaurants. And you won’t need to worry about your fridge being empty as your food shop is covered with a supermarket located on the premises. When it’s time to relax, you can unwind in the large common areas, play pool with your pals, keep fit at the on-site gym and relax with riverside views of the River Don. Sheffield may be built on a heritage of manufacturing steel but, today, it’s every part of the student city. Foundries, mills, and forges have given way to centres for learning and a lively, independent social scene. We have 767 rooms in total. 200 of them are South facing and another 200 are North facing with beautiful views of the River Don. Central Quay is a fully en-suite property with a mix of students from Sheffield Hallam University and the University of Sheffield. We have shared flats and self-contained studios for sale on 44 and 51-week tenancies. We have students from all years of study and age ranges, we are popular with both home students and international students giving us a vibrant and diverse community. All bills are included, this includes internet and a fortnightly kitchen clean. We pride ourselves on helping our students live without worry, this means they can focus on studying and get the most out of their university experience. We have an onsite gym which is free to use, along with a study room and a popular common room with pool table and table football. There is an onsite supermarket and our friendly Customer Service team are on hand 24/7 to support our students. We also have a number of rooms available for summer accommodation from 31st July – 13th September, these rooms are priced at £100 per week for an en-suite room in a shared flat or £130 for a self-contained studio. If a student wishes to book for both summer and the academic year we can link these bookings meaning they do not need to move out of the property. In order to book all we need is a £250 deposit, after that we require full payment of the outstanding balance on 1st August if the student does not have a UK guarantor, or they can use a guarantor service such as Housing Hand.
